District 25 Schools
Arlington Heights School District 25 consists of seven elementary schools (Kindergarten through grade 5) and two middle schools (grades 6 through 8). In 2007-2008 there were 4,924 students enrolled in the district. District 25 employs about 730 full and part-time staff members.
District 25 offers comprehensive instruction in literacy, mathematics, science, social science, health, physical education, visual arts, drama, music, and creative arts as well as gifted education and special services. Our students score well above state averages on standardized tests at all grade levels in all subject areas. Technology instruction is integrated into the curriculum with eleven computer labs in the district: one in each elementary school and two in each middle school. There are additional computers in the classrooms and mobile computers available. There is also an industrial technology lab in each middle school.
District 25 schools offer a variety of student activities to choose from:
- Band, string music program and chorus
- Academic competitions such as Knowledge Master, Science Fair, Science Olympiad, and PTA Reflections.
