ER Alternatives
There are alternatives to visiting the Emergency Room for non-emergency but urgent visits. Walk-in treatment is available for both non-life threatening urgent care conditions (strep throat, ear ache, flu, etc), as well as treatment of chronic conditions.
Examples of life threatening conditions: chest pain, profuse bleeding, loss of consciousness, sudden numbness, paralysis, mental confusion, or severe shortness of breath. If you are experiencing any of these conditions, immediately call 911 for emergency treatment.
Please note: All treatment centers listed accept BlueCross/BlueShield PPO insurance. HMO members should discuss urgent care options with their Primary Care Provider.
