The new Illinois law that affects the District as of 1/1/2010 requires employers to grant access to group health insurance (medical/dental/vision) to employee's children up to the age of 26 irregardless of student status.

To enroll your child, please submit the Dependent Certification form as well as the appropriate enrollment forms. The applicable premiums will be deducted from your paycheck. Please indicate the effective date you would like the insurance to begin ( if no date is given, it will be assumed that you wish coverage to begin on 1/1/2010).

You may enroll your young adult child within 30 days of a qualifying "life change" event.
