Rotoball is an international collaborative animation
project created by high school art teacher David Gran in
Shanghai, China. A group of our Dryden 3rd graders
created a 15 second entry for this project. This tiny
animation took over 2 months of recesses to create. The
3rd graders drew 79 frames of animation. This will get
pieced together with other student work from around the
globe to make one movie. Each entry has the "rotoball"
entering from the left, transforming, and exiting to the
right. The final movie will be screened at the Shanghai
Student Film Festival April 18th. Great work kids!
