Public Act 096-0434 (105 ILCS 5/10-20.46 new) Salary Compensation Report requires that “on or before October 1 of each year, each school district in this State, including special charter districts, shall post on its Internet website, if any, an itemized salary compensation report for every employee in the district holding an administrative certificate and working in that capacity, including the district superintendent. The salary compensation report shall include without limitation base salary, bonuses, pension contributions, retirement increases, the cost of health insurance, the cost of life insurance, paid sick and vacation day payouts, annuities, and any other form of compensation or income paid on behalf of the employee. This report shall be presented at a regular school board meeting, subject to applicable notice requirements.”

Administrator Compensation Report

In accordance with Public Act 097-0256 (105 ILCS 5/10-20.47) Administrator and teacher salary and benefits report and (105 ILCS 5/34-18.38) Administrator and teacher salary and benefits report, each school board shall report to the State Board of Education, on or before October 1 of each year, the base salary and benefits of the district superintendent and all administrators and teachers employed by the school district. For the purposes of this Section, "benefits" includes without limitation, vacation days, sick days, bonuses, annuities, and retirement enhancements. The information on administrators and teachers include: name, position, title, salary, full-time equivalency and benefits. Salary information reported includes all payments for duties performed during the school year, including additional payments for summer school, coaching, activities, alternative high school, and other extra-duty assignments.

Administration and Teacher Salary Report

In accordance with Public Act 097-0609, each school district must post on their website the "total compensation package" for employees who receive a compensation package that exceeds $75,000 per year. Public Act 097-0609 defines "total compensation package" as the employee's salary, health insurance, housing allowance, vehicle allowance, clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days granted, and sick days granted. This information is required to be posted within 6 business days after an employer participating in the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund approves their budget.

Employee Compensation Report > $75,000

In accordance with Public Act 097-0609, each school district must post on their website the "total compensation package" for employees who will receive a compensation package that exceeds $150,000 per year at least six (6) days before the employer approves such compensation package. Public Act 097-0609 defines "total compensation package" as the employee's salary, employer-paid health insurance, housing allowance, vehicle allowance, clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days granted, and sick days granted.

The law requires IMRF to post certain employer cost and participation reports on its website. IMRF will update these reports annually. The following information is included:

• Employer Contribution Amounts - The amount of employer contributions each employer made from 1/1/1995 to present (searchable spreadsheet)
• Employer Contribution Rates - Each employer's contribution rates for the current year and one year after (searchable spreadsheet)
• Employer Resolutions - Required participation resolutions for employers that joined on or after 1/1/1995 (searchable PDF)
