12/19/16 - The entire 8th grade class at South Middle School embraced the holiday spirit, donating their time, effort and raised funds for Feed My Starving Children.
12-14-16 - Dryden students had an experience what most need to travel across the Pacific for.
12/1/16 - A visit from a children’s author/illustrator inspired one second grader to write/illustrate her own book.
11/15/16 - Students at Westgate invited the community in for their Chicago Fair Exhibit, highlighting the cultural aspects of the Chicago neighborhoods.
11/13/16 - A group of South sixth graders got to rub elbows with big shot filmmakers at the Chicago International Children’s Film Festival in late October.
10/31/16 - Students and staff at Thomas were presented with a question as they walked into school one day.
10/14/16 - Dryden students were challenged to invent arcade games out of cardboard this past week. Here are the results.
10/12/16 - Fourth graders at Westgate expanded their reach across the globe during their caravan unit by connecting with friends and family from other countries.
9/28/16 - Dryden Elementary School hosted a STEAM Career Day last week inviting volunteers with a career in science, technology, engineering, arts or mathematics to present.

9-12-16 - Last Friday, Patton Elementary School announced their One Book, One School effort with a disguised reveal that caused excitement within the student body.
