We had a wonderful start to the school year! I am so happy to have everyone back in the building. Take a look at our first day of school videos! Don't forget to turn up the video quality to 1080p if it defaults to a lower resolution. Click the cog wheel in the lower right corner of the video.
Reminders
- When our staff members call, they will always leave a message. Please wait a few minutes for the voicemail to notify you so you know who called. All calls come through the office number, and the office staff will not know which staff member called you.
- Let us know as soon as you know when you will be picking up your child early from school or if they will be going home for lunch that day. We try not to interrupt the learning in the classrooms and will notify your child's teacher before school begins that they will be leaving early.
Drill Schedule
Throughout the school year, we are required to conduct various types of drills. These include evacuation drills, shelter-in-place drills, and lockdown drills.
Evacuation drills involve practicing the safe exit of the building. During Shelter in Place drills, we relocate to designated areas on the first floor that are away from windows. During lockdown drills, we hide so that we cannot be seen from the door of our classroom and remain quiet until the door is opened by an administrator or a police officer. Below is the schedule for our drills this year.
