Join the ABC/25 Foundation and Help Our School Earn $2,500!

Did you know that by becoming a member of the ABC/25 Foundation, you directly support grants that enhance our teachers' innovative ideas in the classroom? Once Greenbrier reaches 25% membership, ABC/25 will reward us with a $2,500 grant to use however we choose!
 
Currently, Greenbrier has 20.3% membership and we need 8 more families to join to reach this goal. Membership is a simple way to make a big impact on our students and teachers.

If you have not already, please take a few minutes to complete the 5Essentials Survey. Your participation in the parent portion of the survey will help us understand the conditions at our school and guide improvement. A report will be generated only if we have 20 percent parent participation.

Election Day

 

On Election Day, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, Greenbrier Elementary School will be used as a polling place all day. We have the following procedures in place to ensure the safety of our students and staff:

  • The polling place for our school is our foyer.

  • Voters will only be allowed to enter through door 1 by the office.

  • Any door connecting our foyer to our school building will be locked.

  • We will hire a full-time building attendant to sit in the area.

  • A District Administrator will be on site that day.

  • CAP parents will enter using door 12.
  • EC students that use the front entrance will also use door 12 for arrival and dismissal for that day only.
  • Walkers will using door 12 for dismissal.
  • Late students should still use door 1 by the office.

  • All grades will have indoor recess.

We take the safety and security of our students and staff very seriously. And while these procedures will cause some disruption to our typical day, we are confident that students will continue to have a safe and engaging day of learning.

June 16 - July 3, 2025 at South Middle School *Dates subject to change pending review of winter weather emergency days. Registration will begin on March 3, 2025 at 9 am and end on April 25, 2025, at 3 pm.

ABC/25 Fore Education Fundraiser
Join the ABC/25 Foundation for the ABC/25 Fore Education Fundraiser at Topgolf Schaumburg on April 6th from 1-4! This is a family-friendly afternoon of golfing, but children must be supervised by a caregiver during the event.

The Multicultural Fair
Coming to Greenbrier on Thursday, April 11th from 6:30-8:00 p.m. Together with your family, share photos, games, clothing, food, traditions, and more with other culturally diverse families! Cultural clothing and dances are also welcomed. Siblings are encouraged to work together. Families who are friends with similar cultures can also do this together!
