• June 28 Referendum

    Full Day Kindergarten will:

    • Provides significantly more opportunities for early learners, especially for those from lower income families, to receive high quality education.
    • Increase opportunities to provide play-based support services that help educate the whole child.
    • Provide high quality social emotional learning for early learners.
    • Align District 25 with its many neighboring districts who are already offering full day kindergarten. It is important that District 25 offers the same educational opportunities for young learners as the other districts in their areas.
    • Begin in August 2024.

    Address aging facility needs:

    • Our buildings are aging and have infrastructure needs.
    • We cannot keep paying for our capital projects out of our reserve.
    • Ensure our buildings remain reliable and functional for the future.
    • Include system improvements across the district:
      • Life safety improvements
      • HVAC & Boilers
      • Electrical
      • Roofing
      • Plumbing
      • Security
      • Paving
      • and more!

    Capacity and learning environments

    • Ensure buildings can absorb future enrollment growth
    • Gym expansions at Westgate and Dryden to support building functionality
    • Flexibility to adapt learning environments
  • Vote on June 28. Early voting begins as early as June 1.

You can vote early at the Arlington Heights Village Hall 7 days a week beginning June 13, and at the Rolling Meadows Courthouse (room 238) beginning June 1.
