Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. All meals, foods and beverages are prepared and served by qualified child nutrition professionals. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Supply chain shortages are affecting grocery stores and restaurants around the nation and as a school district we are not immune to those challenges.
Although our food services department has contracts with vendors, we are continuously exploring alternative suppliers and options. Because of this, the items listed on the food labels section of our site may be inaccurate. If your child has food allergies, our recommendation is for you to pack from home or participate in the safe meal program. For more information on the safe meal program, contact the food services office 847-758-4883.

Here is a brief video created by the School Nutrition Association to explain the supply chain issues and why our products or menu may change on a particular day, unexpectedly.
