Paying for School Meals

  • Every student enrolled at AHSD25 has a student meal account. In elementary schools, all students have a barcode card on card charts in the lunchroom.  At middle schools, students enter their student ID on a pinpad when checking out at the registers.

We encourage families to load money into their student meal account.  Prepaid meal accounts help the lunch lines go faster and can give students more time to eat, relax, and play. It also gives you the peace of mind of not having to worry about looking for lunch money every day or worry that it might get lost, stolen or used for other things other than lunch.

  • AHSD25 Food & Nutrition Services Department uses the Mealtime Online Payment System for families to conveniently deposit money and monitor their student(s) lunch account balance.  Deposits made online are posted to student point of sale accounts immediately.  You can also download the Mealtime App on your phone to quickly deposit money and monitor your student(s) balance. Payments can be made online or cash/checks can be sent to school. All families need to use the mealtime payment system to monitor their child’s balance. Once you have established an account for your child, please check the box to have an email reminder sent to you when your balance is low.

In an effort to reduce paper use, negative balances will no longer be sent home from school. If you do not have email access, please notify the food & nutrition service staff in your child’s building and other arrangements will be made for you to monitor your balance.
