Local Agencies
Good Neighbors Network is dedicated to assisting under-resourced students. They facilitate access to essential resources such as school supplies, household goods, college scholarships, holiday assistance and much more.

They provide services (housing, food, financial assistance) to those in crisis in the Northwest suburbs through a consortium of integrated community partnerships.
Social Services: The philosophy of the department is to empower residents by strengthening self-efficacy and providing solution-focused services that create real change by effectively connecting residents to resources. We collaborate with local agencies to address a range of presenting challenges.
Financial Assistance program serves as a stopgap measure for residents of incorporated Arlington Heights who are experiencing a temporary economic hardship. This program provides assistance for basic needs, such as rent and utilities to qualifying applicants.

C.A.P. and Park Scholarships: Scholarships for Park District programs are available for families who qualify based on household income and family size. The Park Scholarship allows residents to enroll in two programs per session for each member of the family. In addition to classes, the scholarship may also cover other activities, such as pool passes and summer camps. The Children At Play (C.A.P.) Scholarship provides financial support for before and after school programming.
Holiday Assistance for families in need. Residents and businesses sponsor families in need by providing gift and gift card donations.

Nursing Services: provide skilled nursing services, under physicians' orders, for residents in their homes. Health screening clinics for hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, and TB are available during clinics located at the Village Hall and the Senior Center. The nurses manage the Village-wide influenza vaccination program.

Endeavor/NCH Mobile Dental Clinic

- The Mobile Dental Clinic provides dental services for those who do not have access to care due to financial barriers. They provide preventative and simple restorative care; they cannot accommodate complicated or surgical procedures.
- Patients must meet the geographical guidelines (Wheeling Township)
- Income must be at or below 200% of the poverty level and patients must re-qualify once per year.
- A $30 co-pay is charged for most adult appointments
- No co-pay for children.
