    SUMMER U BROCHURE 2021 (click to view)

    Location: Thomas Middle School

    Morning 1 Session: 9 - 10:25 am

    Morning 2 Session: 10:30 - 11:55 am

    ***Classes may 'fill' early in the registration process. We will look to open more sections from the waitlist based on availability. Being on the waitlist does NOT mean that you will not get into a class. More sections may be opened throughout the registration window.

     

    Payment Information

    Registration will begin on March 1, 2021 at 9am and end on April 30, 2021.

    Summer U 2021 review courses will be offered at no cost. There is a fee for the enrichment courses. The prices for the individual courses are detailed in the Summer U brochure.

    Once you register for classes, you have two weeks to pay your tuition in full. If payment is not received within two weeks, your child’s registration may be canceled. For those families in the free and reduced lunch program, financial assistance is available. Please contact the Department of Student Learning at 847-758-4892 for additional information. All information is confidential. For those students who qualify for English Language Learner (ELL) services, please contact your child's ELL teacher for more information on payment.

     

    Registration Modification Requests

    Every effort will be made to accommodate a request made for a class change prior to April 30, 2021.  Please email us at summeru@sd25.org with any questions or concerns.

     

    Class Cancellation Policy

    Prior to May 15, 2021, a full refund will be issued for cancellations. After May 15, we will not issue a refund for class cancellations.

     

     

     

     

     

    Camp Arlington 2021

     June 16 - July 14, 2021


    Please note that Camp Arlington registration is SEPARATE from Summer U registration.

    Camp Arlington is a day camp offered by the Arlington Heights Park District.  All questions regarding Camp Arlington and their registration process should be directed to Katie Waszak.

    Camp Invention 2021

     July 19 - July 23, 2021


    Camp Invention will take place at Dryden Elementary School from July 19, 20201 – July 23, 2021 from 9:00am - 3:30pm each day. Camp Invention registration is separate from Summer U registration.

    Summer Band 2021

     August 2 - August 12, 2021


    Summer Band will be held at Thomas Middle School from August 2 - August 12, 2021.  Summer Band is for students currently in grades 5 - 7 who will be attending South or Thomas in the fall of 2021. Rehearsals are every day from 9:40 am - 10:40 am.  Students will have two group lessons each week either before or after rehearsal.  Lesson schedules will be distributed at the first rehearsal.  The final concert will be the last night of the final day, August 12, at 7:00 pm.
